Extremely unusual traits that may break the usual "rules" of the species' appearance. An Astranata can only have one Ancestral trait, and two Astranata with the same Ancestral trait cannot produce offspring. 

Ancestral traits are typically created with/for specific Astranata, but the "Dream Trait Raffle" in December will allow a user to apply any one existing Ancestral trait to an Astranata of their choice (or work with osteoh to come up with a new one.)
